I am a maker. I've had my own business for more than 20 years, but have been making since I was a kid.
re-maker. Upcycled stuff started showing up in my work in the early 90's. I work with a variety of metals and found materials. It all started with steel wire and cold connections, Calder style. My Book'markers™ were inspired by the time I spent with my son when he was just a babe. I've made more than you can imagine since those early days! I love to work with a torch and enjoy making one of a kind sterling and recycled gold pieces. There's nothing greater than the challenge of making something Funky Yet Useful™ from stuff other people think is junk.
