Vintage Wicker Lobster Basket

What a find this wicker lobster is! Use it for fruit or candy or picnic cutlery. I think using it for lobster would be a bit messy, don't you?

When I found this at an estate sale, the original price tag was on it. It has since fallen off, but it said "Whites", which I'm assuming is White's Department Store which closed in 1978. My guess is that this is from the 70's. I could be wrong, though!

This baby is a nice sturdy wicker and measures 16" long x 10" at the widest point and stands about 4" tall. The inside "dish" is 12" x 3" deep.
