It all started back in 1990-something, when a friend taught me how to crochet in-the-round, making accessories in every size and shape imaginable. I decided to retire my crochet hook for just awhile and move onto knitting. I first learned to knit as a young girl, but not until my early 20's did I come back to it with passion. I first used knitting as an escape from my hectic job in New York's Garment Center. I couldn't wait to run over to my little "safe haven," The Yarn Connection on Madison Avenue. To back up a just a bit-- my career began in New York City, designing cut and sew accessories. But today I pretty much spend my time as a knitting book editor, and selling my wares in my Etsy shop.
