Q: I already own a domain name, can I use it with SoopSee?
A: Yes. You will need to make some changes to your domain name (nameserver or A host record change). These can usually be done through the control panel where you bought your domain name.

Q: Can I change my username?
A: We can change your username for you, please email us with your current username and what you would like us to change it to.

Q: Why don't my Etsy listings update automatically?
A: Your Etsy listings will only appear on your SoopSee site if you either update or import using the SoopSee tools provided. It's a semi-automatic process in that you have to instigate it and SoopSee will do the rest.

Q: Will SoopSee always be free?
A: Yes, there will always be a free account on SoopSee. There is also the Sooper account with lots more features!

Q: Why isn't my website updating?
A: If you have made modifications to your website, you will need to click on the "Publish Website" button. Your website will then be updated within the next 10 minutes.

Q: Why don't my images appear in my blog?
A: Your RSS feed from your blog will determine whether images appear in your imported blog posts. Please email us if you are unsure of what this means. There is no simple answer to this question, but we are working on a better solution.

Q: When I update my Blogger.com blog, Google Friend Connect stops working.
A: When you update your blogger.com blog, your "Alternate Addresses" in your Google Friend Connect account are re-set. You should go to the "Google Friend Connect setup" in SoopSee and click on the direct link there to go "advanced settings" in your Friend Connect account. Once there, add http://www.soopsee.com/ to your "Alternate Addresses"

Q: Google Analytics - can I use it with SoopSee?
A: Yes you can. All you need to supply is your tracking number from Google Analytics.

Q: Every time I try to login, the login page just refreshes without logging me in.
A: This is most likely due to a cookie issue. The first thing you should try is to restart your web browser and go to http://www.soopsee.com/user/login

If that does not work, you may need to delete your SoopSee cookies. Each browser has a different way of doing this - but try to delete only your SoopSee cookies rather than all of them otherwise you "remember me" sites won't log in automatically!

Q: Transfer a domain name away from SoopSee
A: 1. Contact us with your username and the domain name
2. We will ensure the domain name is unlocked and give you the auth code for the domain
3. Once we reply to you, you will need to initiate a request from another registrar
4. We will forward these requests to you email address on file
Please note that domain names can not be transferred for 60 days after registration.
